About Us

Cascade Vocational Services is a private, non-profit organization committed to expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities throughout Whatcom County. Our team works directly with CVS participants and with local Bellingham and Whatcom County businesses, county governments, school districts, social service providers and families to ensure each participant receives vocational services specific to their individual needs and unique life goals. As one of Whatcom County’s foremost rehabilitation agencies, CVS continues to support community pathways toward individual employment while also providing critical resources to Whatcom County’s ever-growing business community.

The skilled and committed CVS staff, as well as our commitment to excellence, has made CVS one of the foremost vocational service providers in Whatcom County. We are a fully-accredited and widely recognized non-profit organization.

The Washington State Governor’s Committee on Disability Issues & Employment recognizes Cascade Vocational Services for excellence and outstanding efforts to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Cascade Vocational Service is awarded 3-year CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Accreditation.

CVS is awarded NISH Certificate of Achievement for outstanding performance in employing and advocating for workers with disabilities.
