Fall 2009- Safeway Lynden announced as Employer of the Quarter!
CVS recognizes Safeway Lynden for its commitment to a diverse work environment. CVS has assisted Safeway to hire two CVS job applicants. Both Jayson and Grant love their work and team environment. With the help of his manager Derry and his CVS job coach Karen, Jayson has received two promotions. Safeway has gone above and beyond to provide additional supports which allow their employees to find success. Spring 2009- Ferndale Haggen announced as Employer of the Quarter!
CVS would like to announce Ferndale Haggen as our Spring 2009 Employer of the Quarter. CVS participant, Teri, works in the foodcourt during lunch Monday thru Friday. Haggen and its staff have done an exceptional job of creating a positive, inclusive work environment for Teri. A CVS job coach checks in on Teri a couple times a week, providing on going training and support. Teri's coworkers are eager to learn more about sign language and how best to communicate with Teri.
